Citadale: The Legends Trilogy

Previously a Wii U exclusive, Citadale: The Legends Trilogy launched on Steam earlier today. It is a collection of the three games in the Citadale series that combines the original Wii U release, Gate of Souls, with its two sequels, which were never released individually. This version of the game was previously released on Wii U in May. The series is heavily inspired by Castlevania, following three generations of the same bloodline as they attempt to defeat “creatures of the night.”

Citadale: The Legends Trilogy is now available on Steam for $9.99, temporarily discounted to $8.99 for the week of release.

Astral Traveler

Dragon Slumber and Brainoid’s single-player sci-fi racing game Astral Traveler launched earlier today. The game boasts 47 tracks, spread out across five nebulas, that players will have to navigate with precision as they barrel down them at breakneck speeds. Enemies will also block their path, requiring them to shoot them down. Online leaderboards let players compete for high scores.

BrambleLash

Bytesprite’s local multiplayer “co-opetition” BrambleLash was released on Steam earlier today. The game sees players link together, creating a tether in between them that can be used to kill enemies. Using this tether, you can pull your partner around, either saving them or killing them in the process. It features both an Adventure mode, in which players must defeat “the Slime King and his hordes,” as well as a Battle mode in which players can change who they’re teamed up with whenever they want, tactically forming alliances and betraying their co-op partners as they attempt to win the match.

BrambleLash is now available on Steam for $9.99.

Steam Tactics

Igor Rashkuev’s charming steampunk strategy RPG Steam Tactics was released late last night. The game offers Fire Emblem-like gameplay in a steampunk setting, tasking players with leading a squadron of airships in battle, obtaining new ships and upgrading shops that you already have, leveling up the pilots in your crew, and more. It is said that the game’s progression system is varied and that there is “little randomness” in combat.
