It’s mid-afternoon, which means that it’s time for another Today’s Releases. Today is Monday, September 11th, and this week is starting off a bit slower than some other weeks in recent times. Let’s take a look at what was released today.
Trianga’s Project: Battle Splash 2.0
Trianga’s Project: Battle Splash 2.0’s free Open Beta began today. The game is a non-violent, water gun-based competitive shooter for up to 32 players, which can be split up into upwards of four teams, per match, with AI automatically filling empty slots. The game can technically support more than 32 players, but it is not recommended. Gameplay is fast-paced and the game features unique mechanics, such as water bouncing off of surfaces that it hits and running to dry, which is the equivalent of healing. Players can choose any of four classes, each of which have their own stats and abilities.
Trianga’s Project: Battle Splash 2.0 is now available on Steam as a free Open Beta. While it is free for the time being, it will cost money once the Open Beta ends.
Tower Offence! is a doujin action game in which you attack towers, rather than build them, by building a ton of units. The game features shielded units, long-ranged units, medics, and so on, which you can use to create hordes that will attack the enemy’s towers, but you must remember to build a lot of them, as there is “strength in numbers.” The game was translated into English by DLSite’s professional translators and released exclusively on the DLSite store this past April before being released on Steam earlier today.
Tower Offence! is now available on Steam for $12.99.
Over My Dead Body (For You)
Over My Dead Body (For You) left Early Access earlier today. Its core gameplay mechanics are similar to those of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, allowing players to control a ghost and a zombie simultaneously as they work to solve puzzles, fight enemies, and even “possess the weak-minded.” There are 20 levels in all, with an additional 10 challenge levels for those who want a greater challenge.
BACK TO THE EGG!
BACK TO THE EGG! is a new action tower defense game that was released on Steam Early Access today. The game allows one or two players to fight increasingly difficult hordes of enemies as they attempt to defend the last known dragon egg from being destroyed. They will be able to build various defenses and use their characters’ own weapons and skills to defend the egg. The game is said to be fairly difficult, requiring players to time their skills wisely.
BACK TO THE EGG! is now available on Steam Early Access for $9.99, temporarily discounted to $8.49 for the week of release.
