Arcanity’s open-world RPG Tanzia, which has been in Early Access since earlier this year, is fairly unique. It is a single-player RPG set in a colorful fantasy world, but it seems to play more like an MMORPG. Despite that, it is heavily inspired by Nintendo titles, “especially the Legend of Zelda series.”
It is fortunate, then, that the game will be able to sit alongside The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch, as Arcanity announced today that it is set to launch on Nintendo’s popular console this December. The Nintendo Switch version will feature a number of platform-exclusive features, including the ability to use the touch screen to “select enemies, NPCs, loot, and spells” and new “handheld presets” that are intended to “procide a more authentic console experience.”
Additionally, Arcanity has announced that the game will launch with a comic book that was drawn by the game’s artist Saige. This comic book was previously intended to be part of an optional Special Edition of the game, but players will now be able to unlock it in-game.
Tanzia is available on Steam Early Access for $14.99. The game is set to launch on PC and Switch this December, at which time the price will be increased to $19.99.
