Harmonious Games announced today that its colorful cooperative puzzle platformer Putty Pals is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on October 18th. The game puts two players in the role of putty creatures of two different colors and tasks them with solving a number of “color-based puzzles” as they make their way across 18 levels and 16 “bonus unlockable mini-levels.” Like many other platformers, there are a number of secrets to find, as well as time trials to complete.
Additionally, the PC version of the game that was released back in February will soon be receiving a new update, update 1.3. This update is set to introduce World 3, “the Puttazon jungle,” which will consist of ten new levels, six beach levels and four jungle levels; nine new mini-levels; and a new world-exclusive soundtrack. The update will also include two new putty colors, pink and purple, “environmental art additions,” and improved optimization. It is unclear at this time whether the Nintendo Switch version will be launching will this update or whether it will be introduced sometime after release.
Putty Pals is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop on October 18th. The PC version is currently available on Steam for $9.99.
