I was utterly engrossed by the Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth Book 1—you can tell as much by reading my review of it. Given that, I’m quite excited about the quick turnaround for Book 2. Daedalic announced today at gamescom that the second part of the game’s trilogy of books is set to be released in December 2017, with the third book following in Q1 2018. More specific release dates have yet to be announced.
In going with the announcement, a 15-minute gameplay trailer has been released. You can find it embedded below.
Additionally, Daedalic announced that AER – Memories of Old is set to be released on October 25th and that Chaos on Deponia is set to be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 6th. AER – Memories of Old is a low-poly third-person “exploration adventure” in which players play as a character named Auk that can turn into a bird whenever she wants. She must use this ability to explore a world made up of floating islands and bring “new life to her home.”
