You guys remember Beat Hazard, right? The arcade shooter that generated levels based on music? Well, its developer, Cold Beam Games, is back with a brand new “card fighting” game called Martial Arts Brutality. In its essence, Martial Arts Brutality is a card game. You slowly build a deck of increasingly deadly martial arts cards and then play them to attack your opponent(s). The difference is that each card deals damage to a specific body part and the success of your attacks is based on Osu!-like quick-time events. You then get to see the results of your attacks play out in real-time. Did I mention that the game allows upwards of eight players to take part in each battle?
Martial Arts Brutality is now available on the App Store and Google Play as a free-to-play game. It is set to be released on PC at a later date. You can find more information about the game on the official website.
