Remember how the fan-made My Little Pony MMO Legends of Equestria is entering Open Access on August 19th? Today, the team behind the game provided a look at what we can expect from the initial Open Access release.
Legends of Equestria will feature three major story arcs. The first of these arcs is set to be included at the beginning of Open Access, with the other two being added at a later date. Details regarding the first story arc have yet to be unveiled.
When Open Access begins, there will be a total of seven zones to explore. Some of these will contain traditional MMO content, such as dungeons.
Players will be able to play as a colt or filly from one of three races: Earth, Pegasus, and Unicorn. They will have the option of leading their pony into adulthood or remaining a foal forever.
There will initially be six “branches of expertise” for players to earn a Talent Mark from: Animal Care, Combat, Flying, Healing, Magic, and Partying. It’s unclear exactly what some of these entail, but each will be earned through “exploration and questing.”
The team also announced tentative system requirements. The initial Open Access release will tentatively require a 2 GHz dual core processor, a graphics card with 256 MB of VRAM, 2GB of RAM, and 3.5 GB of space on your hard drive.
