Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Takes Us Back To Ivalice Today

I’ve always been rather fond of Final Fantasy XII. Its MMORPG-like combat system, its desert setting…the game was fairly unique in almost every way, as far as the Final Fantasy series is concerned. Vaan could be a bit annoying, but then again, I rather dislike most of the series’ protagonists.

At long last, the remake, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, launched on PlayStation 4 earlier today. The remake improves the graphics and revamps a number of game systems, including the battle system, the job system, and the License Board system, making the game “easier to play than ever.” It’s the Final Fantasy remake that I least expected to happen, but is also perhaps the only one that I care about.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is now available on the PlayStation Store for $49.99.
