Idea Factory International announced today that Compile Heart’s “moe-filled” dungeon crawling RPG Moero Chronicle is set to launch on Steam on August 16th. The previously PlayStation Vita-exclusive game originally gained notoriety for its “Bumping Scratch” system, which allows you to “purify” your team of monster girls by identifying their weak points and then touching, rubbing, poking, or picking that weak point.
Other than that system, the game is a fairly standard dungeon crawler. You can recruit any of 50 monster girls to your five-person party, each of which has its own “unique skills and traits,” explore dungeons, and fight enemies in turn-based combat.
Moero Chronicle is set to launch on Steam on August 16th. Its price has yet to be announced, but it will be subject to a 30% discount during the week of release.
