2D Souls-Like Immortal Planet Is Out Now

Ronin developer Tomasz Wacławek’s latest game, the 2D Souls-like Immortal Planet, has launched. Described by Wacławek as “a love letter to Dark Souls,” the game contains many features that resemble the well-known, difficult game, including “methodical combat” and a loss of experience on death that can be recovered if you reach the place where you died before you die again.

Early reviews seem to be largely positive, with many praising the game’s combat system. Others were a bit disappointed that there is little in the way of weapon variety.

Immortal Planet is now available on Steam and GOG for $14.99, temporarily discounted to $13.49 for the week of release.
